The Institute is the largest rehabilitation institution on the territory of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro. The capacity is 1,010 beds on three locations, two in Serbia and one in Montenegro. The staff is composed of 65 physicians out of which 2 professors, 1 associate professor, 9 with PhD degree, 3 with MSc degree, 5 consultants, 59 specialists and 6 general practitioners. In addition to them we have 118 physiotherapists and 145 medical technicians.

In- and out-patient rehabilitation of degenerative and inflammatory rheumatic diseases, injuries, diseases of the musculoskeletal system, neurological diseases, cardiovascular and upper airways diseases are carried out at the Institute.

We have special electrodiagnostic service, diagnostics of cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases, as well as up-to-date laboratory and x-ray service.

The Institute is also a teaching hospital for the University School of Medicine, Nursing College and also a leading professional and methodological center of the Republic of Serbia for physical medicine, rehabilitation and balneoclimatology.
